El Hacho Action Group

Annul the EUC El Hacho. 

WHY?

1.  It was formed illegally

2. The manner of voting of the present Management Board, committee and the budget was illegal.
3. The present budget includes repayments of huge, unsubstantiated loans to developers.
4. Part of the entity’s objective is to refurbish infrastructure when this should be dealt with directly by the Town Hall and not by any extra tax imposed on owners in El Hacho.
5. The limits of the EUC el Hacho exclude all communities not immediately on the golf course and others, such as Marina Duquesa and Los Granados which will benefit hugely from any development of the area without having to pay any extra tax i.e. the tax burden for improvement lies with only a few of the communities.

 Seek a better way to improve the area.  How?

1. Utilise the existing infrastructure of the Town Hall to collect funds from owners through increased rates (say 3-5%) of all properties from Sabinillas to La Paloma i.e. all communities which benefit from their proximity to the port & the area of el Hacho.

2. Encourage all foreign residents to register to vote so that they can join in local elections and ensure the people they trust are in charge.

3. Propose that the Town Hall use the extra funds received from increased rates to appoint skilled & experienced town planners to bring the area of el Hacho up to a superior, luxury level which will benefit ALL who live in the Manilva area from increased tourism.

4. Investigate where the control of development of the area has so far failed within the Town Hall and make the necessary changes to put it right.

THE ACTION GROUP IS NOT AGAINST IMPROVEMENT IN EL HACHO BUT AGAINST AN UNJUST AND UNFAIR ENTITY WHICH IS OPEN TO CORRUPTION AND MISUSE.   WE ARE HAPPY TO ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA AND PAY INCREASED TAXES IF OUR MONEY IS USED PROPERLY.

QUE PRETENDE EL GRUPO DE ACCION

-ANULAR LA EUC DE EL HACHO POR ENTENDER QUE FUE ILEGAL

1 La forma en que fue constituida.
2 La forma de votación utilizada por el Comité elegido, así como el presupuesto  presentado.
3 La importante deuda que reclaman los promotores ya que nunca fue conocida ni documentada.
4 Una parte importante del objetivo de la Entidad es acondicionar la infraestructura, cuando esta corresponde al Ayuntamiento y no a los propietarios.
5 Los limites de El Hacho excluyen comunidades tan significativas como MARINA DE LA DUQUESA y LOS GRANADOS, que se beneficiaran sin tener que contribuir a los gastos que correrán a cargo  únicamente de algunas de las comunidades

-COMO MEJORAR LA ZONA

1. Utilizando la ya existente infraestructura del Ayuntamiento, consiguiendo mediante un incremento de tasas ( por ejemplo de un 3-5% )  de todas las propiedades desde Sabinillas a La Paloma que se benefician del valor añadido del Puerto y del  Campo de Golf. 

2. Animar a que todos los residentes extranjeros se empadronen para votar en las elecciones locales y asi poder confiar en los políticos elegidos. 

3. Proponer al Ayuntamiento que use parte de los fondos recibidos mediante la mencionada tasa extraordinaria, para que técnicos especializados planifiquen como mejorar el nivel de la zona para atraer tanto residentes como turismo de calidad.

4. Investigar donde esta fallando el control del Ayuntamiento en lo concerniente al desarrollo de la zona para corregirlo cuanto antes.

POR LO ANTERIORMENTE EXPUESTO QUEDA DE MANIFIESTO QUE EL GRUPO DE ACCION NO ESTA EN CONTRA DEL DESARROLLO Y LA MEJORA DE EL HACHO Y SU ENTORNO SINO CONTRA UNA ENTIDAD INJUSTA QUE PUEDE CONDUCIR AL MAL USO E INCLUSO A LA CORRUPCION. NOS COMPLACERIA ASISTIR AL DESARROLLO COHERENTE Y DE CALIDAD DE LA ZONA AUNQUE IMPLIQUE TENER QUE PAGAR UN INCREMENTO SIEMPRE QUE SEA USADO DE FORMA ADECUADA.
